Ruaha National Park is the largest national park in Tanzania, covering an area of 20,221 square kilometers. It is located in the transition zone between the northern and southern hemispheres, which makes it a unique habitat for a wide variety of animals and plants.
The park is home to over 530 species of birds, almost half of all the bird species found in Tanzania. It is also home to a large number of mammals, including elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests.
The park's diverse landscape includes mountains, steep slopes, grasslands, rocky summits, and river areas. This variety of habitats provides a home for a wide range of animals, making Ruaha National Park one of the most biodiverse parks in Africa.
